How it Started In 1993, David Galbenski formulated the idea for creating Contract Counsel while practicing as a commercial litigation associate in Detroit, at the 20-person law firm of Timmis and Inman. After a futile search for a source for contract staff to give his firm the document review capability it needed, he soon saw the void in the law industry marketplace. His concept for a contract staffing firm that would focus solely on legal professionals took shape. Dave and partner Mark Adams funded the start-up, and the company has enjoyed steady growth through the 1990s and into this century.
