According to a study done by the American Bar Foundation and the NALP Foundation, "After the JD: First Results of a National Study of Legal Careers": In offices of more than 250 attorneys, the survey shows a gap of $15,000 in women's and men's median salaries.

According to the NALP's 2005 Associate Salary Survey, the median salary for first-year associates:

  • $67,500 in firms of 2-25 attorneys
  • Up to $125,000 in firms of more than 500 lawyers
  • $100,000 is the overall median for participating firms

What impact will the new federal rules regarding e-discovery have on the overall cost of litigation?
