Lumen Legal CEO Honored By His Peers at Two Detroit-Area Events The Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association (DMBA) bestowed the DMBA President’s Award for 2006 on Galbenski for his extraordinary contribution to the organization. The award was presented at an awards banquet and annual meeting hosted by the DMBA and Michigan Lawyers Weekly on May 23rd in Detroit. In April, Wayne State University Law School’s Ninth Annual “Treasure of Detroit” Gala, held at Ford Field in Detroit, honored Galbenski for his legal services leadership. A 1993 Wayne State Law School alumnus, he was recognized for pioneering domestic outsourcing solutions for corporate clients and law firms, and for guiding development of Lumen Legal’s innovative data-base-driven human resource system. Lumen Legal has been one of the fastest-growing private companies in the legal industry, and was recognized in 2003, 2005 and 2006 as one of the Detroit areas’ best companies to work for.
