Commercial Contract Attorney (Contract)

Lumen Legal is partnered with a client to identify and hire a Commercial Contract Attorney. This is a contract opportunity approximately six to eight months working at our client’s office in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The client will allow working remote, but the preference would be to be onsite as much as possible.

The hired Commercial Contract Attorney will deliver great results by:

  • Drafting, negotiating, and advising the company on many different types of commercial contracts, including but not limited to, master service agreements, master supply agreements, terms and conditions of purchase, terms and conditions of sale, non-disclosure agreements, technology services agreements, software license and maintenance agreements, consulting agreements, distributor agreements and termination letters.

  • Having previous work experience in the automotive industry working directly with commercial contracts.

  • The focus of the work will be with supply agreements, licensing agreements, some strategic alliance items. Minimal corporate governance work. May be some special projects.

Highly qualified Commercial Contract Attorney applicants will possess the following education, skills, and experience:

  • Five or more years of experience drafting, negotiating and advising Commercial Contracts particularly in the automotive industry.

  • JD from an accredited law school.

  • Someone with good judgment, can ID issues, work well with the business, negotiate effectively.

  • Must be licensed to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Must be willing to complete a Background Check.
