Insurance Research Attorney (Contract)

Lumen Legal is partnered with a nationally known and respected insurance and financial services company to build a team of contract Insurance Research Attorneys who can work full time, conducting complex insurance research and deliver detailed spreadsheets to our client. This is a contract opportunity that will last approximately 5 months.
The hired Insurance Research Attorney will deliver great results by:
Reviewing insurance actions and the impact of regulations nationally.
Consult with client and teammates on best practices for collecting and reporting collected information.
Documenting and submitting results of research.

Highly qualified applicants will possess the following education, skills and experience:
3 or more years of Research Experience.
Insurance Industry experience a plus.
JD from an accredited US Law School.
Licensed to practice law in one or more US jurisdiction.
Experience using Lexis-Nexis.
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
Must be willing to work on-site at our Troy, Michigan location 5 days per week.
Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screen.
